With the cold-blooded killings of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband, and the shooting of another pol and his wife there, it’s urgent we turn down the rabid political rhetoric.

Yet, the “No Kings Day” protests over the weekend offered a 3D snapshot of the vast and bottomless chasm separating left and right in today’s America – as well as the venom spewing from the left.

Indeed, even the ostensibly “peaceful” anti-Trump protests at times provided needless stimulus for the heedless homicidal – aimed squarely at a president who’s already dodged the bullets of at least two would-be assassins.

Exhibit A: North Carolina Democratic state Rep. Julie von Haefen happily posted a photo of a woman at a No Kings protest there holding a mock severed head of President Trump with a poster of a bloodied guillotine and the words:

“In these difficult times
Some cuts may be necessary”

A sign at another protest read, “8647 Is he dead yet?”

We simply live in separate realities. And it’s become painfully clear our friends on the left either don’t know or don’t care what life was like for people on the right the past four years.

We have a king now? Because he wants to secure the border, enforce the law and deport those whom Democrats undoubtedly imported illegally as prospective voters for a one-party, dissent-free state?

What a boatload of freeze-dried rubbish.

You want a monarch? You want a tyrant? It’s Biden who should’ve been fitted for the royal robe.

To wit:

• As exposed by the Twitter Files and the Missouri v. Biden lawsuit, conservatives were brazenly censored online by a Biden/Big Tech conspiracy for their views on the origins of, and official actions on, COVID; the Hunter Biden laptop; the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election and more.
• Only this month we learned the Biden FBI’s targeting of “radical traditionalist Catholics” for would-be terrorists – and a desire to spy on such churches – was much more widespread than it claimed.
• Then there are the concerned parents at school board meetings who were looked at as domestic terrorists by Biden’s DOJ.
• Even after a wave of 100 or more terror attacks on churches and pro-life centers after the overturn of Roe v. Wade was leaked in 2022, under the Biden DOJ dozens of pro-life activists were charged with crimes, but only four pro-abortion activists were.
• Even after local prosecutors declined to prosecute, the Biden DOJ sent a SWAT team just after dawn to decorated evangelist Mark Houck’s home and brought federal charges after he merely shoved someone while “defending his young son from an aggressive Planned Parenthood escort.” The father of seven was blessedly acquitted by a jury, but the government damage to a Christian family was already done.
• In a barefaced attempt at intimidation of conservatives, the Biden FBI actually sent agents to homes of conservative Americans to “discuss” their conservative online posts.

What kind of government does that?

Oh, yeah. A tyrannical one.

Then there’s the fact that the Biden administration weaponized multiple federal agencies to unlawfully try to deny nonprofit status to Grand Canyon University, the largest Christian university in the country, and to fine it a record $37.7 million for something the U.S. Department of Education now admits the school didn’t do.

The Biden and Democrat atrocities of just the past four years go on and on – including hiding the king’s dementia from the people, and then coronating a successor without a popular vote.

What kind of government does that?

Oh, yeah. The kind we actually had the past four years, but which liberals only think we do now.

Contrary to what you saw and heard on the streets of America this past weekend, the election of Donald Trump in November was actually an overthrow of a monarchy.

Making the “No Kings” protests not only menacing but delusional.
