Missouri Rep. Cori Bush may only have confirmed voters’ decision to oust her Tuesday, after she issued bizarre antisemitic threats in her “concession” speech.
St. Louis’ rabidly anti-Israel, anti-police congresswoman – the Democrats’ second far-left Squad member in Congress to lose a primary re-election bid – openly threatened the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) for supporting her victorious opponent, prosecutor Wesley Bell.
“AIPAC, I’m coming to tear your kingdom down,” Bush bellowed. “And let me put all of these corporations on notice: I’m coming after you too!”
Claiming her loss after two irascible terms has only unleashed her, she growled, “And as much as I love my job, all they did was radicalize me, and now they should be afraid.”
AIPAC’s United Democracy Project reportedly spent $8.5 million to unseat Bush.
Another of the nine-member far-left Democrat Squad, New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman, lost his re-election bid in a June primary. Besides also being virulently anti-Israel, Bowman was infamous for being the one who pulled a firearm to stall a House vote on the government shutdown last September.
