Buck up and buckle up, folks. It’s quite possible human history has never seen either the amount or depth of government scandals now being unearthed in Washington, D.C.
The astonishing scandals that may come into sharp relief in the next six months alone are likely to rock the very foundations of the republic. They may well widen the chasm between conservative and liberal. And they should cause many on the left to question everything they believe about our government.
As the new presidential administration digs up the mounting misdeeds of the Obama and Biden regimes, we’ll be drinking scandals and core-shaking exposés from a firehose.
For a nation already torn apart by the most fundamental disagreements over gender, race, speech, illegal immigration, morality and more, the coming cavalcade of scandal is going to test the threads of the republic more than anything since the 1860s.
The shocking scandals include, but are not limited to:
- an apparent Democrat/deep state conspiracy to frame candidate-turned-president Donald Trump as a Russian asset
- intelligence agency operations to spy on Republican presidential candidates
- an alleged secret “honeypot” spying scheme on the Trump campaign by former FBI director James Comey
- U.S. intelligence asking its counterparts in other countries to spy on 26 Trump associates.
- revelations, not yet fully explored, of intelligence agency assets deployed at, and perhaps even inciting, the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol incursion
- possible lawfare collusion between the Biden White House and prosecutors going after Biden’s rival Trump
- funding of far-left activists and organizations out of the U.S. treasury
And that’s not even mentioning the Mueller Russian collusion probe that it appears the Obama administration launched knowing it was false – and the successful CIA Hunter Biden laptop psy-op to swing the 2020 election in Biden’s favor.
Then there’s the breathtaking conspiracy of silence to hide President Biden’s cognitive decline for nearly four years – which is running neck-and-neck with framing a political opponent as a traitor for U.S. history’s biggest scandal.
And documents indicate not only that Hillary Clinton concocted the Russia collusion hoax, but that Obama was briefed on it early on.
Conservatives have known about much of this for years. But the Biden administration successfully suppressed the stories for four years.
Moreover, conservatives and liberals live in completely different realities, thanks to segregated news media – and a left-wing legacy media that dutifully carries an ocean of water for Democrats and liberals.
Case in point: Although CNN’s Jake Tapper now has a book out decrying the Biden dementia coverup, he was a key component of it – in one segment argumentatively interrupting Lara Trump to tell her, “I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody’s cognitive decline.”
Our separate worlds are now colliding, with fresh revelations and likely even more evidence to come of scandals on the part of the Obama and Biden administrations.
It may – and perhaps should – involve arrests of extremely prominent people who, let’s be honest, have previously been considered too big to jail.
The levers of our republic have been corrupted and corroded. That much is already clear.
But the brewing storm of revelation, reproach and responsibility is only now gathering.
If the media finally begin to do their jobs, which is to report the facts without fear or favor, the resulting fury of bombshell after bombshell will test a lot of people’s world view – and their ability to question much of what they’ve been told to believe.
Whether they can even do so will have a lot to say about the survivability of our republic.
