A new poll shows where Missouri voters stand on the push to repeal abortion from the state constitution and ban transgender sex-change procedures for children.
A SLU/YouGov poll compiled in February surveyed 900 likely Missouri voters and found Amendment 3 holding a steady lead: 47% of voters support the measure to reverse the pro-abortion laws passed two years ago, while 40% are opposed and 12% are still undecided.

The poll also highlights how much Missourians value parental rights: 41% of voters oppose allowing minors to get an abortion without parental consent, while 40% support it and 19% remain unsure.
Voters are similarly divided on early abortion access, with 47% agreeing it should be legal in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and 43% disagreeing.
The broadest consensus in the poll centers on protecting kids from irreversible sex-change procedures. Exactly 67% of voters oppose allowing minors to receive drugs or surgeries to transition, which Amendment 3 would officially ban.
The polling data arrives on the heels of Missouri Right to Life’s Action Day, where statewide officials spoke with absolute urgency as to the importance of passing Amendment 3.
