Kansas city felon-turned-rapper sings of murder, guns, faces prison for illegal weapon possession

A Kansas City rapper who expresses bloodlust and affinity for guns in his music lyrics now faces up to 15 years in prison for an illegal gun possession conviction on Friday.

Joseph Isaac, 28, also known by his stage name SleazyWorld Go, was found guilty of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon by a federal jury in Kansas City, Kansas.

Isaac previously had been convicted of armed robbery, the most severe felony level, in Michigan in 2016. As a violent convicted felon, it’s illegal for him to own a firearm.

Some of Isaac’s songs are called Pass Me The Glock, Pass Me The Drac and Glock Crazy, and his most recent 2026 album is called I Want Blood, which has multiple lyrics referencing guns and violence, according to AZLyrics

“I think it was me that popped blood but I can’t tell you who it was. Walked up and never mind, say that, they might just come and lock me up.

“Shooter hand startin’ to warm up, I had to ice it.

“[N-word] play with me, I shot his ass, now he lifeless.

“It’s not a .30 stick it’s a .22, but I keep him clean.

“10 mil’ll put a [N-word] down with a chest shot.

“His ass got nine lives, but you know yo’ ass still gon’ die, right?”

Officials began investigating him in 2022 after an anonymous person submitted photos to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) of Isaac posing with a Glock-style handgun with what appeared to be a conversion device to make the gun fully automatic.

Investigators found over 30 public social media posts between September 2020 and September 2022 of Isaac holding guns.

Court records show Isaac’s initial charges were one count of knowingly possessing a machinegun and one count of a felon in possession of a firearm. He was convicted by the federal jury only of illegally possessing a pistol.

More lyrics from Isaac’s most recent songs reference automatic weapons specifically:

“Yeah, I took the switchy off my Glock then threw it back on, now it’s soundin’ right.

“Remember the last [N-word] tried to get me. Almost did, but he had a semi, I had a fully.”

Isaac performed at a concert in Nebraska on March 8 and recent posts on his social media promise another performance in May, despite his conviction.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced on June 30.

Isaac posted a statement on his Instagram story from his attorney Quinn Michaelis:

“It’s clear that the jury was not convinced by the government’s case, as it took the jury over 14 hours to return a verdict. And even then, the jury was not convinced that Mr. Isaac possessed three of the four firearms found in his jeep, including a machine gun that the lead TFO [Task Force Officer] testified he saw Mr. Isaac possess.

“The jury’s finding of innocence on the machine gun count shows the jury completely rejected that officer’s testimony and the government’s version of the events. We will continue to fight for Mr. Isaac’s innocence in our post-trial motions.”
