(The Lion) — Education Secretary Linda McMahon praised a citizen journalist for exposing fraud in Minnesota – including a daycare that misspelled “learning” on its sign.

“There are not enough words to describe the breathtaking failure that has happened under the watch of @GovTimWalz,” McMahon posted Saturday above a video of journalist Nick Shirley outside the “Quality Learning Center” daycare.

The center, which appeared to spell learning as “learing” on its sign, received $1.9 million in taxpayer funds this year, Shirley says, despite the building appearing to be closed “midday, midweek.”

Shirley reportedly found $110 million in potential fraud in a single day, yet his work has not been covered in the mainstream media.
