(The Lion) — President Donald Trump issued a stark warning in a series of Truth Social posts on Tuesday that Iran should immediately and unconditionally surrender, suggesting the life of its leader, Ali Khamenei, may be at risk.

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding,” Trump wrote. “He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

The president also warned, “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” and in a final post, simply wrote, “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”

On Monday Trump left a G7 meeting early to return to the White House, telling reporters on Air Force One that Iran “should have done the deal. I told them, ‘Do the deal.’ So I don’t know. I’m not too much in the mood to negotiate.”

The president has also said he seeks “a real end” to the fighting and insists Iran must “give up” its nuclear program.
