Undercover journalist proves some leftist school administrators OK with breaking law

(The Lion) — A school administrator in Texas has no qualms about circumventing state law to promote radical gender ideology.

An undercover reporter from Accuracy in Media, a media watchdog group, posed as a mother of a transgender child looking to move to Dallas.

In the video released Monday, the reporter spoke to Mahoganie Gaston, the LGBTQ youth coordinator at Dallas ISD, about whether her “daughter” would be allowed to join a girls’ sports team.

Gaston cited a law passed in 2021 meant to protect the integrity of K-12 athletics.

“Texas passed a law that students can only participate in the sport that’s listed on their birth certificate, unless you have an updated birth certificate,” she explained.

When the “mother” asked about potential loopholes, Gaston confirmed the law could be circumvented.

“They said ‘birth certificate.’ They didn’t say ‘original’ or ‘updated.’”

The administrator assured the reporter that she would support a transgender athlete even if they posed a safety risk to others or injured another student during a game.

“I tell people all the time, I will go to jail for saving their child’s life,” Gaston continued. “I guess no conservative kids come out gay.”

And she apparently had no qualms about skirting the law.

“How would that look on the news?” she asked. “‘LGBTQ advocate arrested for protecting a child.’ Think I’m going to get in any trouble getting bailed out?”

Gaston has worked for Dallas ISD for over a decade as both an LGBTQ support services coordinator and a homeless education specialist.

But she’s not the only public school administrator who flaunts the law to push a radical agenda.

Accuracy in Media has found educators in Texas and Nebraska who “rebrand” critical race theorgy so they can continue teaching the prohibited subject.

Dallas ISD also got in hot water when teachers partnered with a transgender clinic without district approval.
