They knew. They knew it all along. Yet the Biden-Harris administration went to enormous lengths to conceal the president’s deteriorating mental state from the public – even lashing out bitterly at those who tried to expose it.

How on Earth is that not a world-class scandal of historic proportions?

Here’s how: the thoroughly corrupt major media (they’re not “mainstream” anymore, if they ever were).

When the Wall Street Journal belatedly broke through the wall of silence with the blockbuster story “Behind Closed Doors, Biden Shows Signs of Slipping,” the rest of the media rushed like a poorly trained volunteer fire department to put the flames out for the White House.

“The Wall Street Journal’s story about Biden’s mental acuity suffers from glaring problems,” blared a CNN damage-control headline.

In an amateurish jiu-jitsu white belt maneuver, The New Republic rushed to find a former Trump official to suggest “WSJ Should Cover Trump Mental Acuity Next.”

MSNBC host Morning Joe Scarborough called it a “Trump hit piece” and a “false, biased story.”

And on and on. Of course, the media’s covering of the president’s backside was exposed for all to see in the June 27 presidential debate, during which CNN anchors appeared embarrassed on Biden’s behalf.

Yet, having long turned a blind eye to Joe Biden’s vacant stare and losing battle with stairs, even now the media imply there’s not much to see here.

CNN made a meek, fleeting admission July 2 that “Biden’s mental fitness could have been better covered leading up to the debate, some White House reporters acknowledge.”

And in an editorial that largely patted the president on the head and gave him a non-participation trophy for finally bowing out of the race, here’s Tuesday’s ho-hum, let’s-skip-to-another-topic observation of The Washington Post editorial board:

“The 81-year-old [Biden] had shown signs of slipping for a long time, but his inner circle worked to conceal his decline.”

That’s it! You’re free to go! Go along your merry way, you lovely inner circle, you! Nice attempt at trying to hide a mentally unfit commander in chief of the most powerful nation on Earth. Can’t blame you for trying, anyway, you pranksters you!

There you go. A major newspaper thinks it’s no big deal that all the president’s men and all the president’s women deceived the American public about the president’s mental state, likely for years.

It’s up to people with real integrity, such as  George Washington University Law School professor Jonathan Turley – an avowed Obama voter – to point out that the conspiracy to hide Biden’s cognitive decline is, indeed, a very big deal.

“Kamala Harris was part of that ‘inner circle’,” Turley posted on X Wednesday, “something that she is emphasizing on the campaign [trail]. That would mean that she also concealed his decline [while] denying it publicly…”

Turley goes on to note “the near total lack of interest in that issue by the media, including the Washington Post. Many professed to the public that Biden was sharp as a tack…

“Finally, there is fact that the political and medical staff at the White House repeatedly denied any decline to the media. Yet, the Post now rather matter-of-factly admits that it was all a knowing lie. Just another shrug and spin in our post-truth political environment.”

Post-truth political environment. What a sad, but accurate statement.

But that’s your galactically corrupt media, America. They’re working night and day to prop up the candidate of their choice. And they want to be the ones who actually install the candidate of their choice – even now that they’ve had to do a fast-footed pirouette to a vice president everyone knows isn’t up to the job.

This isn’t the “democracy” the left likes to swoon over while they stomp all over it. What we have brewing here is a media-ocracy. Rule by media.

So, where does that leave the open-minded, undecided voter?

It leaves them on their own, that’s where it leaves them.

That means those of you who’ve yet to educate yourself on the two candidates and their policies have nowhere to turn except your own research – and X, the only free speech social media platform left, and Maria Bartiromo of Fox News’ Sunday Futures, one of the only cable news programs courageously and fairly telling the truth these days.

Whomever you end up voting for, if you want to decide this election for yourself and not have the corrupt biased media do it, you’ll have to see to it yourself.
