(The Lion) — A Missouri chemistry teacher used a first-of-year worksheet to ask students which “name” and “pronouns” she should use when contacting their parents or guardians, a watchdog group revealed.

In August, a local watchdog group called WGSD Transparency posted to X the image from a high school worksheet in the Webster Groves School District asking for students to list their pronouns and “if contacting parent(s)/guardian(s), should the same name/pronouns provided be used?”

“Who should I contact if I want to share good things about you from class?” the worksheet also asked.

“How about contacting the parents? Maoist behavior,” the Transparency group wrote in sarcastic reply.

A public records request from Parents Defending Education (PDE) confirmed the existence of the worksheet, with the group warning the information the teacher requested “is often used to keep the gender identity of students a secret from parents.”

“The state believes they should protect children from their parents without any evidence of abuse,” WGSD Transparency said, in reply to an individual who argued the schools are just trying to keep kids safe. “This is a big problem. Parents deserve to know when the trans propaganda in public schools starts influencing their kids.”

The school district has also been under fire for reportedly pushing gender ideology in other ways, including allegations the district assigned boys who identify as girls to share a room with girls on overnight trips.
