Lieutenant Governor Kehoe fights for Missouri businesses

The Office of Missouri Lieutenant Governor has created a national Buy Missouri economic development initiative to help promote Missouri-based businesses and products.

The campaign aims to promote products that are grown, manufactured, processed and/or made in Missouri to other states and around the world.

According to the Office of Lieutenant Governor’s website, the plan is to organize various activities to help achieve the goal of promoting Missouri products.

“The “Buy Missouri!” campaign is organizing a variety of activities such as community events, entertainment attractions, and trade shows to promote tourism, business, and economic developments which will showcase Missouri-made products and businesses,” the website says.

As a part of the initiative, Lt. Gov. Kehoe is inviting business owners to apply for enrollment into “Buy Missouri!” to get their products and businesses showcased. The link for business owners and manufacturers to apply for enrollment is here

“When we buy Missouri-made products, we support our friends, family and neighbors who work at and own these businesses, which is why it is important for citizens to know more about, and help grow, the Buy Missouri initiative” said Kehoe.

“I encourage citizens to visit BuyMissouri.net to learn more about Missouri businesses, Missouri-made products, and the people behind them. They have terrific stories to tell.”

Business owners who apply and get accepted as part of the campaign can also submit showcase videos of their businesses and products to be highlighted on the website
